The beautiful always finish last

I've been wanting to speak about this for a while but until now I haven't had much to say except to friends in my circle. At this past Collections Ball hosted by Jasmine Couture Mizrahi there was an incident involving Legendary Icon Kristina Tsunami and Ginger Mizrahi. During a heated battle during the female figure performance category there were a lot of thing that I was not happy to see. For starter when I logged into W4me and read that Ginger, of all people, had won the 5K I was shocked. To the point where I had no words. I still to this very day don't see how she was allowed to walk but I guess if you new overall mother and financial source for the category is the ball promoter anything is possible....."Sigh"....I just got done watching the dvd that I waited almost 2 weeks to get, not thanks to Andre Chanel, and got into the drama that was the main topic of the blogtalk radio shows for the past 2 weeks. And was it drama.

I sat in horror and watched how the whole category went from start to finish. In my opinion the only girls who should've received 10's were Deja La Perla, Kristina Tsunami, Roxy Evisu, Tamaya Allure, Skittles Herrea, A khan??, and just because Malaysia Ebony. Long story short watching what went down and how Kristina was attacked by Donald Miza and how she lost knocked the wind out of me. From Ginger grabbing Kristina's hands to head butting her, to stepping on her to winning the 5k. It's no wonder Kristina lost it and grabbed Ginger by her hair..lol..Now I don't condone violence but I know by that time Kristina had had enough. I watched as Kool Aid held her as she cried in defeat and it really broke my heart.

Money aside what took place was unacceptable on Jasmines part as the ball host. She should've taken charge of the situation the moment things got out of hand. Luckily there were those on her side such as my house brother Milan Garcons, Sania Ebony, James Icon, Kool Aid Khan, and a good portion of the scene. What happened is a prime example of why the true show stoppers and legends don't come to balls anymore because the scene has lost it's respect value. I'm sad to say that Kristina has washed her hands of the scene. I wished she would stay because there are so few talented kind hearted people left. Her talent and gift is something that I always looked forward to seeing when ever she would hit the floor. Her performance is like nothing I've ever seen and it inspires me and so many others to hit that floor even when it seems that our efforts go unrecognized.

Pretty soon I to will will be done because as many have said before things have changed for the worst and it's getting to the point where it's not even worth it anymore. As much as I enjoy what I do, even though it hasn't been for long, I can see now that it's not something I can continue with either. I do however wish her luck on continuing her education and I hope that from time to time she will hit that floor just to make people like me loose it just for old times sake.
