Girl 6

The other night I watched one of my favorite movies Girl 6.

I don't know why I relate to this movie so much but I do!!!!

For those who may not know it's about a single girl in NYC that's trying to pursue a acting career but with little success.  Try as she might she can't seem to catch a break. In the mean time she tries to finance her dream by working a series of odd jobs such as a "Coat Room" girl at a club, Passing out fliers on the street, An extra on movie sets, anything to make a dollar.

Eventually she lands a job as a phone sex operator. She goes through a series of regular clients where she uses her acting skills. In the mean time she has constant run in's with her kleptomaniac Ex husband.

Her only real friends are her neighbor who she supports with rent money...lol... and a few girls from her job.

After a while she get's sidetracked from her acting dream and get's caught up in the fast money from the phone sex world. It isn't until she has a scary experience with a caller who finds her address that she wakes up and finds her way.

The end is particularly important because she closes the chapter with her Ex by giving him a kiss as she leaves him behind driving away in a taxi for Hollywood. Eventually she arrives on her 1st Hollywood casting only to give it up by not compromising herself or her morals to live her dream.
