9/11 Nine years latter.

The video above is by one of my fav Youtuber's Diamond who recounts her moments during 9/11

Like her I remember where I was when everything was going down. At the time I was 17 or 18 and I was away from home in DC @ Job Corps. I was going through a lot and I was trying to do something for myself by being there. On 9/11 I was in class and I remember the news of what was going on was spreading and we turned on the TV in class to see what was going on. I saw those now haunting pictures of one of the towers smoking. I couldn't understand what was going on till it was said a plane had crashed into it. And literally not even mins latter we all saw the 2nd plane crash into the 2nd tower.

It was one of the most terrifying things to witness.  I just couldn't believe what I was watching. Then all classes were dismissed and everyone was pretty much wandering around campus. I went back to  the dorm with the other guys in my unit and watched it on the tv in our living area. I was getting nervous and decided to call my mother at home. Like me she was in school as well and I wanted her to drive to DC to bring me home because I just didn't want to be alone. But the capital was on lock down because of the Pentagon attack so no one could drive in or out.

I remember my mother and just wanting to go home but I wasn't able to. So I pretty much stayed glued to the news and what was going on. To this day I still can't believe what those poor people had to go through it was horrible. It's just unimaginable to think of all the ways those people died. Since 9/11 there have been lots of movies that have come out and my fav is United 93. It's the story of the passengers who fought back against the hijackers. They were the only ones who's plane didn't reach their target the Capital building in DC.
