Girl 6
The other night I watched one of my favorite movies Girl 6.
I don't know why I relate to this movie so much but I do!!!!
For those who may not know it's about a single girl in NYC that's trying to pursue a acting career but with little success. Try as she might she can't seem to catch a break. In the mean time she tries to finance her dream by working a series of odd jobs such as a "Coat Room" girl at a club, Passing out fliers on the street, An extra on movie sets, anything to make a dollar.
Eventually she lands a job as a phone sex operator. She goes through a series of regular clients where she uses her acting skills. In the mean time she has constant run in's with her kleptomaniac Ex husband.
Her only real friends are her neighbor who she supports with rent money...lol... and a few girls from her job.
After a while she get's sidetracked from her acting dream and get's caught up in the fast money from the phone sex world. It isn't until she has a scary experience with a caller who finds her address that she wakes up and finds her way.
The end is particularly important because she closes the chapter with her Ex by giving him a kiss as she leaves him behind driving away in a taxi for Hollywood. Eventually she arrives on her 1st Hollywood casting only to give it up by not compromising herself or her morals to live her dream.

Mugler F/W 2011
All I have to say is.....MUGLER IS BACK BABY!!!!
Nicola did a wonderful job of bringing back the fun vibe from the old Mugler days.
I loved it all very futuristic sex diva. Everything had the alien sexy vibe to it. I think I loved seeing the models actually have fun by camping it up like in the old Mugler days.
And Lady GaGa was the icing on the cake!!!

This is one of my top fave if not my fave of the fall shows!!!
The 70's boho chic looks reminds me of Cleopatra Jones!!!
The colors were vibrant and bold, It's like she took all the color from the spring 2011 collection and moved it to the fall.
I love the hats, the eyewear, the beautiful fur pieces, the florette jackets & boleros, the coats, the flowing chiffon gowns, and lastly all handbags and purses in all those wonderful colors.
I'd happily wear almost every piece!!!

I love this one most because of the color and prints.
The yellow & purple, the doubled skirts, those lil panther hats, the eyewear, the jackets, the sheer pieces, the pvc, very fun!!!
Not something I'd expect for the brand but still very unique and fun. I love the prints the most that Ricardo has done before with the eagle & diamonds but this time with florals & panthers.

The black & charcoal grey, the jackets & coats, the all in one rompers, the pants, the tweed gown, and those great boots!!!
